Tip: Black to Medium Brown Hair Without Bleach

If your hair is naturally black like mine's and you've been wanting it to be a medium brown shade without having to resort to bleaching it completely, here's the solution:

Yes, if you wanna go brown, you have to get blonde hair dye like the one pictured above. If you use brown hair dye, it will hardly make a difference to your hair color. I suggest to pick out a blonde hair dye with ash tones to it to avoid or minimize the chances of having brassy hair.

I used Revlon Colorsilk Dark Ash (#60) and my hair became a nice chestnut brown shade as you can see down below in my 'after' picture.

I'm sure that with lighter shades of blonde, you'll get slightly lighter shades of a medium brown color. Anyway, definitely try it out!

Following a Tutorial! - Korean Style Makeup (frmheadtotoe)

Jen, otherwise known as frmheadtotoe on YouTube, holds a very special place in my heart. Why? Well, because she taught me everything I now know about makeup. I learned how to apply makeup from closely watching her videos after all so thank you, Jen!

I have been wanting to try out Jen's Korean makeup style look ever since she did a tutorial on it last year and today, I finally had the opportunity to do so. I mainly followed the steps to do the eye makeup, and made a few changes here and there, and it turned out to looking fine. Still, I don't think I can pull this kind of makeup off as much as Jen can; she looks gorgeous as always with it on.

My iPhone 4 can't catch the sparkly details, but trust me, my eyes looked sparkly.

Would I wear this again? I like it but it isn't my cup of tea, at least for now. It makes me look more mature and I guess somewhat sultry but I prefer fitting in a more youthful, cuter image. Well, it was worth a try though to see what works and what doesn't for me though so I have no regrets about following this tutorial. :)

Review: GEO Big Grang Grang Brown

It's been overdue; here's a review for Geo Big Grang Grang Brown Lenses.

Enlargement (5/5): It definitely makes my eyes appear larger but not to the extent it looks alien-like. I'm pleasantly surprised since I thought a pair of lenses that were 15mm like these would make my eyes look freaky.

Comfort (4.5/5): There is some pain after six or seven hours of wearing these but that seems to be quite typical from any pair of circle lenses, especially if they're on the larger side like these. 

Design/Color (4/5): It's a simple design so it's really nothing you could go 'wow' over but the color is so lovely. I have typical dark brown Asian eyes so when I have these lenses on, my eyes instantly look lighter in color, like amber. I know the photos I uploaded really don't show how much it brightens my eyes--and I apologize for the low quality of my pictures--but you have to take my word for it.

Bottom line: Very natural, eye-enlarging, and enhances your natural eye color, assuming that its brown. It's a great purchase and would definitely recommend it to others.
